Dog Knee Brace for Torn ACL/CCL Hind Leg

This brace has been very helpful for our 6-year-old Lab after he injured the cruciate ligament in his rear leg. It gives him good support when he is active, but getting the right size is very important. Make sure to take careful measurements before ordering. If the fit is not correct, the straps may slide down when your dog lies down and stands back up, which can affect how well the brace works. It is easy to put on and take off, so we mainly use it when our Lab wants to go outside or be more active. We always remove it when we are not home. This brace was a bit large for our 50 lb Pitbull, but we were able to secure it tightly enough for it to work effectively. A smaller size wasn’t available when we purchased it. She had a torn ACL, and at over 12 years old, surgery was too risky, so we chose a conservative management approach. This brace helped a lot during her recovery, supporting her when she needed assistance with bathroom trips.
