Description

Help your dog walk with confidence again. The Lispoo Dog Knee Brace provides targeted, adjustable support for the stifle (knee) to help manage ACL/CCL injuries, mild patellar instability, and arthritis-related discomfort—at home, on walks, and during guided rehab.

Product Features

  • Adjustable hinged support – The hinged design helps control unsafe over-flexion/extension and rotational stress, promoting more stable, natural steps.

  • Stays in place – Multi-point straps and an anti-slip inner lining reduce sliding and twisting during movement.

  • Comfort for daily wear – Soft, breathable fabric with smooth edges helps minimize rubbing and hotspots.

  • Easy on/off – Intuitive hook-and-loop closures make fitting quick, even for wiggly dogs.

  • Left/Right hind leg compatible – One brace works on either hind leg; mirror the fit as needed.

  • Versatile use – Suitable for conservative management and post-surgery support as advised by your veterinarian.

How it helps

  • External stabilization: The hinge limits excessive motion to keep the knee operating in a safer range.

  • Load redistribution: Straps and panels help spread impact away from the injured structures, easing strain.

  • Gait guidance: Gentle directional support encourages a more controlled, confident stride.

Recommended for

  • Partial or complete ACL/CCL tears (conservative management or vet-guided recovery)

  • Mild patellar luxation/instability

  • Arthritis and age-related knee weakness

  • Low-impact activity support (leashed walks, flat surfaces, controlled rehab exercises)

Important: A brace is a supportive aid, not a diagnosis or cure. Always follow your veterinarian’s advice—especially regarding activity limits and hinge settings.

Sizing & fit

Measure with a soft tape while your dog stands naturally:

  1. Thigh circumference – 2–3 cm (≈1 in) above the kneecap.

  2. Knee circumference – around the widest part of the stifle.

  3. Lower-leg length – from kneecap to the hock (ankle).
If between sizes, choose the larger size for easier adjustment. Refer to the size chart on the product page.

How to put it on (takes about a minute)

  1. Position the brace so the hinge aligns with the knee.

  2. Anchor the bottom strap first, then secure remaining straps from bottom to top.

  3. Adjust the hinge to your vet-recommended range (start more restricted, then gradually increase mobility as recovery progresses).

  4. Check movement: let your dog take a few steps; re-snug if you see slipping or gapping.

Wear-time tips:

  • Start with 15–30 minutes to acclimate; check the skin/coat.

  • Use during walks and exercises; remove during long rest or overnight unless your vet says otherwise.

Care & maintenance

  • Close the hook-and-loop tabs and hand-wash in cold water; air-dry.

  • Keep hair/debris off the fasteners for best grip.

  • Do not machine-dry or expose to high heat.

This company offers some of the best customer service I’ve experienced in a long time. Working with them was smooth and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish. Their team restored my confidence in what great customer care should feel like. They respond quickly, go out of their way to meet every request, and dedicate real time and attention to making sure everything is handled perfectly.

I’m so glad I found this brace for my dog. He is a 70-pound Border Collie mix with a torn right hind leg, and we were really struggling to find something that worked. Surgery wasn’t possible, and the brace suggested by the orthopedic specialist cost thousands of dollars, which was not realistic for us, especially with ongoing chemo treatments. I ordered and tested three different braces, and this one stood out immediately. The hinged support gives him much better stability, and the overall fit works very well for him. Since using it, he is walking better, playing more, and showing much less discomfort. This has been the best option we’ve tried, and I’m very happy with the results.
