Description

Dog Leg Protection Sleeve keeps healing on track with a gentle, breathable barrier that discourages licking, biting, and scratching. This adjustable dog leg protection sleeve covers hotspots, sutures, and minor abrasions on the foreleg or hind leg, helping wounds stay clean and dry while your dog moves comfortably through daily life.

Product Features

  • Anti-lick & anti-bite barrier: Limits access to wounds, hotspots, and dressings to reduce irritation and infection risk.

  • Comfort-first design: Soft, breathable fabric and smooth edges for extended daily wear.

  • Adjustable, stay-put fit: Multi-point hook-and-loop straps help prevent slipping, twisting, and bunching.

  • Universal placement: Works on front or rear legs; choose left or right as needed.

  • Cone alternative or companion: Use alone for mild cases, or pair with an e-collar for determined lickers.

  • Washable & reusable: Easy care for hygienic, odor-free protection.

Note: This is a protective sleeve, not a joint brace or immobilizer.

Who It’s For

  • Post-surgery incisions (as directed by your vet)

  • Hot spots, dermatitis, minor cuts/abrasions, and suture areas

  • Dogs prone to stress licking or chewing

  • Pet parents seeking a cone alternative that’s more comfortable indoors and on walks

Sizing & Fit Guide

Measure before ordering for the best result.

  1. Upper circumference: Around the leg above the target area.

  2. Lower circumference: Around the leg below the target area.

  3. Coverage length: From just above to just below the wound site.

Fit Tips

  • If between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.

  • Straps should be snug, not tight — use the two-finger rule under each strap.

  • For long coats, loosen slightly or smooth hair under the straps.

How to Use

  1. Identify the affected front or rear leg and the area to cover.

  2. Open straps and slide the sleeve over the paw, positioning it over the wound/dressing.

  3. Fasten bottom to top, applying even tension.

  4. Let your dog walk a few steps; re-adjust if you notice sliding or twisting.

  5. Begin with short sessions (20–40 minutes), then increase as your dog adapts.

Care & Maintenance

  • Close straps before washing.

  • Hand wash or machine wash cold (gentle).

  • Air dry completely; avoid heat.

  • Inspect the skin daily for redness, moisture, or hair matting; clean the sleeve as needed.
